Your guide to
brighter health
Using biology to demystify metabolism & build body confidence
Your body is not broken.
But many diets and wellness fads sabotage your health and energy in sneaky ways — especially if you’ve spent years trying to do all the right things, only to end up feeling tired, hormonally out of whack, and stuck in a body you’re frustrated with.
Many of us fall into crazy-making cycles with food: restriction, obsession, avoiding, bingeing, and starting it all over tomorrow — better this time.
Food loses its joy and becomes something we control and fear.
But willpower is not your problem.
Often, years of well-intentioned attempts to eat “better” have simply reduced your metabolic capacity, leaving your body with less energy to support the life you want to live.
Lucky for us, metabolism adapts to abundance just as readily as scarcity.
With the right approach, appetite stabilizes, energy returns, body composition shifts, and the pleasure of eating comes rushing back in.
If you’ve been stuck in this cycle, it may be time for a new way of thinking about nourishment.

Hi! I’m Blaine. I’m a nutritionist, chef, and metabolic health coach. I help women get their spark back through solid science and the unapologetic pleasure of eating well.
After more than a decade working in the wellness and food worlds, and spending plentyyy of time in the “healing journey” trenches myself (IYKYK), I’ve learned a thing or two about what actually creates glowing health and the body you envision.
And it’s usually not what the wellness industry tells you.
Wanna stop overthinking food?
I write about eating abundantly, fueling your metabolism, and losing the guilt that makes food feel fraught.

After studying biochemistry and the sociology of health and disease at UT Austin, I switched from medicine to cooking school (Natural Gourmet Institute), where I specialized in culinary nutrition.
I catered high-vibe events for conscious brands like Ritual, CAP Beauty, and Osea, and ran my own private chef business in LA for 5+ years.
Nowadays, I’m lit up about teaching the full picture of metabolism that everyone with a body needs to know: how to eat more, feel energized, and improve your body composition after years of diet culture. I’ve lived the full spectrum: food as obsession, enemy, and — finally —source of immense pleasure and nourishment. Join me!
